For Your Clarification About the Structure of Bon Jour Matchmaking Service

When you are considering a matchmaker I really feel the first thing you should do is your due diligence…meaning read through the pertinent parts of the Denver matchmaker’s website.  That will form the basis as to whether you even want to call them to discuss their service.  It will also help you form questions that you might otherwise not think of.

Because there is such a trend amongst both local Denver matchmaking services and national franchise services to sell “packages of dates” people occasionally find it difficult to understand Bon Jour Matchmaking.  The reason for that is because this is a true matchmaking service.  Because there is no way to promise you that the day you come in for your interview the “perfect” person will be waiting, I offer an open-ended contract to all of my clients.  It would be unrealistic for you to think that even though you haven’t been able to find the “perfect” person, the day you interview and view profiles I will automatically have them.  I might…in many cases of the couples who have gotten married clients found their forever partner the very first day they came in.  With others there was more of a wait until that person appeared.  There are new clients coming in all the time so the makeup of the clientele from one week or month to another changes.  That’s why the open-ended contract is so important!

I’ve had a couple of women in their late thirties in a desperate hurry to find a man, get married and start a family after they’ve spent time either in a 9 year relationship that blew through their thirties and never worked out or focusing on their career.  It is unrealistic to expect me to pull a man out of a hat who is perfect for you right out of the gate.  Again, that MAY happen, but it may not.  You have your own preferences, criteria and challenges that may preclude certain partners.  You may be extremely selective which may eliminate many potential mates.  Your success in my service or any Denver matchmaking service has a lot to do with you.  Clients who are unsuccessful like to blame that on the service they used, when in reality they got in their own way.  I’ve seen that many times over almost 27 years.

Bon Jour Matchmaking focuses on finding the right matches on both sides.  There are no packages of dates and no limited contracts.  If your goal is to date as many people as possible to find the needle in the haystack your best bet are the Internet Dating Sites.  This is old fashioned matchmaking as it was meant to be…
