37 YEARS OF MATCHMAKING HAS TAUGHT ME A LOT

Singles tend to think if they pay money it should work to find a relationship. Meeting the right person is only the first step in the process. That’s why in Bon Jour Matchmaking there is so much feedback and coaching (if needed) to take the bud of a meeting through to a full-blown permanent relationship.

If you are uncommunicative, you jump to conclusions quickly that may be inaccurate, you don’t make an effort than without my assistance surely any potential relationship will fail.

I’ve learned over these years how little people communicate with each other even though they claim to want a relationship. You need to share your expectations with that person, or they might inadvertently not meet them.

In at least 3/4 of the couples who married through Bon Jour, I had to share information with each client because they didn’t share it with each other. I had to correct misperceptions, or the relationship would not have moved forward. It’s much more than having people thrown at you and hoping for the best.

I repeatedly clarify on this site and when speaking to potential clients, this is a matchmaking service which means we are looking for “the one”. I am not interested in just throwing people at you to meet a package in a limited contract…that would be a dating service. Before you spend the money with any service think about your goal. Is it to meet a bunch of people and hope for the best with no assistance but a large financial investment? Or is it to find a permanent relationship with the help if need be of a seasoned 37-year veteran matchmaker with a track record of hundreds of marriages since 1989?
