I just had a guy call me who kept saying he wanted a guarantee that he would find a relationship. First of all, I am only 50% or less of that equation. Once I’ve set up a match that you have selected or agreed to, the two people have to make the potential relationship succeed. I give lots of coaching, not everyone listens to as you will see below. I give feedback on both sides which is invaluable. But a relationship succeeding is up to the two people in the relationship.
I recently set up a match. I gave a particular instruction to both people 4 times. Both of them ignored it completely for ridiculous reasons. Because they ignored it right out of the gate, this will probably not turn into a relationship based on the 37 years I’ve been watching couples initiate the first meeting. I shared that with both of them, yet they still disregarded it.
So, when you ask MY success rate…MY success rate is tied directly into my clients’ behavior, whether they follow my instructions and their ability to have a healthy relationship.
I DO however share direct feedback on both sides, have an extensive profile on each client, several current photos of each client which is shared with each client if appropriate based on mutual criteria. Every client’s contract is open-ended, meaning they are a client until they achieve their goal, however long that may take.
Because I spend so much time when someone calls evaluating them and only accept people who fit for the clientele and sound realistic, Bon Jour Matchmaking has been so successful for 37 years.
