THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DENVER MATCHMAKING & DATING SERVICES

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

A matchmaker has met with (in-person) and interviewed ALL of her/his clients. She/he has an extensive profile on each client for prospects to view, along with several current pictures. In a matchmaking service the client and matchmaker work together collaboratively to select the most appropriate match. Both clients should be able to talk prior to their initial meeting and set up their own time and place. Communication starts right there. A true matchmaker ONLY matches clients with the most appropriate people who fit, on both sides, the criteria and preferences each has set forth. A professional matchmaker requires feedback and shares and coaches each client to help every match have the best chance of success.

A dating service for the most part sells you a package of dates. They have several different plans and fees. They have finite contracts. In dating services that have several “matchmakers” no one knows ALL…

IS THIS YOU? THEN YOU ARE A GOOD PROSPECT FOR BON JOUR MATCHMAKING

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

I do not decide exclusively upon my own criteria whether we should work together.  Primarily that has been decided by my current clients who have been very specific as to their preferences and criteria…just like you would be if you were a client.  Bon Jour is the ONLY Denver matchmaking service that does not have ANY reviews stating the client was set up with people who did not fit their specified criteria.  So, don’t take it personally and don’t blame the messenger (me) if I feel that we shouldn’t work together.  Rather be grateful that I told you the truth and did not scam you out of your money!

Just to try and make things simpler, following is a list of traits that will tell you if you and Bon Jour Matchmaking Service are a good match which include both my perimeters and my clients’ criteria:

  1. You have read to…

REAL COUPLES HAVING REAL RELATIONSHIPS

CALL ME…This is NOT a “sales” call, merely an exchange of information.

ChuckCarolynLamar2013

Both male and female clients hire Bon Jour Matchmaking to find them fairly “perfect people”.  Minimum wrinkles, not too short, not fat, not too thin, not too tall, youthful, vibrant, athletic, etc., etc., etc.  My clients have much to offer in many categories which include sports, education, financially, careers, appearance, kindness and the list goes on.  But what gets in the way of many people’s success whether it be with me, other Denver matchmakers, Denver dating services or the Internet dating sites is that they are looking for perfection.  Above are pictures of happy, successful couples married 40+ years.  These couples did not meet through Bon Jour.  They met years before I started Bon Jour Matchmaking.  These are real people having real and successful relationships:  They are not models, they are people who were lucky enough to…

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL I MEET IN THIS DENVER MATCHMAKING SERVICE?

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

When you call for your FREE phone consultation you may ask how many people you will meet.  First of all that is primarily up to you.  When I show you profiles at the time of your interview if you do not select anyone that is your prerogative.  If once you are on file as a client you turn down everyone who wants to meet you then, again, that is up to you.

I have no way of knowing how many people you will meet and my goal is not to set you up with everyone in town. This is matchmaking. The phone consultation does not go into the detailed depth that the interview does so by the time I know your background and all of your criteria and preferences at the interview the number of prospective matches obviously will go down. This is matchmaking, the information has to fit…

EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS DENVER MATCHMAKING SERVICE

NOTE:  If your mentality is that it’s a numbers game and you wish to meet someone every week…this is NOT the service for you.  This is a MATCHMAKING service NOT a dating service.  It is VERY specific in introducing you ONLY to people who fit your criteria and preferences, and of course, you fit theirs.  THAT is why it is so successful!

To understand my overall structure please read the HOME PAGE for an overview.  Just click on the link to go to that Page or Post.  Also you may wish to read WHAT AM I PAYING FOR AT BON JOUR MATCHMAKING SERVICE If you are married or separated please do not call me as my clients are only interested in people who are currently available for a long term relationship and/or marriage.

Be sure to read the lists of What Effects Your Investment Fee in Bon Jour.  Any one or more of those listed may bring DOWN your fee!

One of the biggest differences about Bon Jour Matchmaking from any other service is the Win/Win Policy.  Click on the link to go to that information.

It might interest you why I turn down so many potential clients.  I think this makes a lot of sense on both sides of the equation.  In addition you may want to read WHY YOU MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT CLIENT FOR THIS DENVER MATCHMAKER.

Another Page you may want to read is WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE INTERVIEW so there won’t be any surprises and you can view my home office. Yes, I have a private office in which I keep all my client profiles and where you can be candid and open when we meet, unlike services who interview you in public forums.  Check out  YOUR PICTURES FOR BON JOUR

The next Page you should view is POSTS TO READ BEFORE JOINING ANY DENVER MATCHMAKING SERVICE. That Page has an abundance of Posts for you to access with both general information about dating/matchmaking services as well as advice in a variety of areas, i.e., selecting services, matchmaking service fees, what turns men off, how to be a collaborative Bon Jour Matchmaking client, etc. Of course you do not have to read every Post listed on that Page, just the ones that interest you the most.

Another Post of interest may be What types of singles are the most successful when working with a Denver Matchmaker.  This information is based on knowing personally each and every client, their priorities, their preferences and their criteria.

Exciting New Policy

CLIENTS’ TESTIMONIALS is a Page you should read as those reviews of Bon Jour Matchmaking go all the way back to 1989.  I could not include all Testimonials I’ve received over the 33 years, however those should give you an idea of how clients feel about the structure and working with me.

For personal background information on me you should view the Page entitled ABOUT THIS PROFESSIONAL DENVER MATCHMAKING EXPERT. This will give you info on my volunteer work in the community, how old I was when I started the service, etc.

There are approximately 186+ Posts on My Blog all of which give you an insight into the clientele, my work ethic, the structure of the service and more.  Also, the Pages on the right-hand navigation will take you to important information. Once you feel you understand the service, for the most part and have questions, please phone me to chat 303-756-8106. Especially phone me if you do not understand my philosophy or have questions about things you have read or perhaps missed reading. For my hours you may go to HOURS, LOCATIONS, FEES for specifics.

MATCHMAKING, COACHING, LISTENING AND LEARNING AT THIS DENVER MATCHMAKING SERVICE

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

Hiring a matchmaking service is a lot like hiring a financial adviser to direct you in the stock market. You invest your money hoping for a large return; you have patience because the market can go up and down and you are basically making an educated decision about this form of investment.Likewise in a matchmaking service your investment is in the hopes that you will meet people who you’ve been searching for up to this point; you are directed by the matchmaker which candidates (like stocks) will give you the best return; it can take time to meet the most appropriate matches and they may be successful or not. It’s an investment in the process. Again, patience is key. With my open-ended contract you have the best opportunity to meet the “right” person when they present themselves.

SO THIS IS WHY YOU WORK WITH A SEASONED PROFESSIONAL MATCHMAKER

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

A beautiful, successful mother, businesswoman and model joined Bon Jour Matchmaking in 2013.  She met a couple of men but not “the one”.  Recently I have been cultivating a relationship with a Denver meteorologist going through a divorce with this client in mind.  Once he was divorced he joined Bon Jour and she was the first one I suggested that he meet.

Since they laid eyes on each other they are crazy about each other and very hopeful this will go long term permanent.  Due to her patience with the process and his willingness to give this type of approach a try, although he was very skeptical about working with a professional Denver matchmaker, he now says that he feels they would not have had as open communication and feedback had he not gone this route.  He feels that having a professional matchmaker has made the process seamless and comfortable…

REVIEW FROM MY CLIENT OF A DENVER MATCHMAKING SERVICE

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

Hi Michele,

I know you like to post on your website warning single people of the local Denver matchmaking services that are less than scrupulous. As you know, I used It’s Just Lunch (should be called, It’s Just a Huge Waste of Your Time and Money) before I started working with you at Bon Jour Matchmaking. I’ve had problems with them calling me every few months ever since I stopped using their service…which I stopped in July 2012!

I hope you can warn people – do not give these people your contact information. They will just keep calling and calling until they drive you crazy, even if you spell out for them exactly what you didn’t like and tell them in no uncertain terms you would NEVER utilize their so called service again. I would complain to their Corporate HQ but the people that run this are so dishonest, I…

A REAL, LIVE MATCHMAKER and “Matchmaking Services” Who Sell Dates

Michele "the Matchmaker" Fields's avatarBon Jour Matchmaking Service

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Let me count the ways that I am different from all those “matchmaking services” who sell packages of dates!  First of all that says it right there…they sell packages of DATES so they are DENVER DATING SERVICES NOT MATCHMAKERS.

Why, why, why would anyone pay thousands of dollars to let someone you’ve met briefly decide FOR YOU who you are going to meet when you’ve only bought so many DATES?  They give you no information, no pictures and they make the decisions.  Consistently their reviews state over and over that clients were not set up with people who fit their criteria.  Even when they’ve specified repeatedly what they are looking for.  You know why?  All the service has to do is throw how ever many people you’ve bought in a package at you and they’ve met the contract.  Really, does that sound like a matchmaking service???
